Which hub goes with the Banebots (RB-Ban-128) wheel?

It’s nearly impossible to match Banebots wheels with the correct hubs. We need to know the shaft bore (3mm, 6mm, 1/2", etc), mounting size and type (hex, keyed, etc), and hub/wheel width of all hubs and wheels in order to get them matched up correctly.

Our new website layout (RobotShop) allows for some very interesting mixing and matching of products, but time and resources are limited. For the moment, consider the following:

There are 8 different sizes:

]1-3/8" x 0.4"/:m]
]1-5/8" x 0.4"/:m]
]1-7/8" x 0.4"/:m]
]2-3/8" x 0.4"/:m]
]2-7/8" x 0.4"/:m]
]2-7/8" x 0.8"/:m]
]3-7/8" x 0.8"/:m]
]4-7/8" x 0.8"/:m]

Series 40: These are 0.4" wide
Series 80: These are 0.8" wide

There are six different wheel bores:

]Unfinished (just a hole)/:m]
]3/8" Keyed (circular with a slot; you’ll need shaft collars on either side and a key)/:m]
]1/2" Keyed (circular with a slot; you’ll need shaft collars on either side and a key)/:m]
]1/2" hex/:m]
]3/4" hex/:m]
]3/8" Bushing/:m]

There are three colors of wheels:

]Blue (hardest rubber)/:m]

]Green (softest rubber)/:m]

Finally, the hubs have different bores and widths:

“1 or 2 wide”
This indicates the number of wheels you can mount on the hub. If you choose a series 40 “2 wide”, you can mount two 0.4" wheels back to back to make 0.8". If you choose 2 wide for series 80, you can mount two 0.8" wheels back to back to get 1.6" wide. You would be correct in assuming that two 0.4" wheels essentially does the same thing as one 0.8" wheel, except for the fact that several smaller diameter wheels only come in one width, so if you want a wider wheel, you’d need a series 40 double wide hub.

Let’s take a random example: you want a 2-7/8" diameter wheel to fit to a 6mm shaft.

Step 1: You see there are two 2-7/8" wheels above, one is 0.4" wide and the other is 0.8" wide; you choose which you want, let’s say the 0.8" wide.
Step 2: Choose the wheel color; let’s go for green
Step 3: You need a hub in order to secure the wheel to the motor, so “unfinished”, “bushing” and “keyed” are not ideal, leaving you only with 3/4" hex and 1/2" hex.
Step 4: Since your wheel is 0.8" wide, you have a few choices for hubs: a 1/2" hex series 40 double wide, a 1/2" hex series 80 single or a 3/4" hex series 80 single. Which is better you might ask? The choice is really up to you. Let’s opt for the series 80 3/4" hex.

Step 5: Now that you’ve chosen the hub (knowing the bore needs to be 6mm to fit your motor), you need to find the series 80 orange wheel with 3/4" hex
