Ok, you can order one now.
The actual kit version is not out, and probably won’t be, for a while (based upon how busy Jim’s been lately).
However, you can buy everything but the lexan rover base, now.
That should be enough to keep you busy for a few weeks.
The parts that you’ll need to order for the “human” portion can be found on the Servo Erector Set examples page.
The body part is just the top half of the humanoid prototype.
The encoders, motors, servos, batteries, servo controller, microcontroller, botboard, yadda-yadda-yadda can all be purchased now.
The only thing that you’d need to wait for is the lexan base and the back idler wheels (the latter you could make yourself, and the former you can find at a hardware or office store).
