Which of the two DC servo motors (available on RobotShop) have less Backlash:
The Cytron: RB-Cyt-90 or
the Pololu:** RB-Pol-123**
I am new here and could only find forums for entire robot systems, not separate parts.
I would be grateful for any kind of help or direction where to write this question.
My project is to build a small 1 DoF haptic device for telemanipulation.
I would like to use 2 dc servo motors. One being the master one the slave device.
I would attach a rod to the axis of the motors perpendicularly, and would use a bilateral control to
connect the the two (inverted pendulums) together. One way encoder signal other way force (torque) or current measurement…
The force measurement would need to be fast in order to counter act time delay, and the backlash of the transmission is also a key factor for the control algorithm.
