Where to purchase "connector hubs"?

Hi,

I’m soon to receive a Johnny 5, and setting about building it up in a similar vein to 4mem8’s Pico ITX Johnny 5 build (but with much less $$$!). I’d like to at least extend the arm length using aluminium rods and connector hubs, as seen here:

… question is, does anyone know where you get these? I’ve asked my hobby store but they only sell the rods :smiley:

looking at the picture my guess is that they have used:

but you can by these, built for purpose:
