Where to buy cheap solenoids?

Does anyone here where to buy cheap little solenoids? about $5,- or something like that. should work arround 3-5 volt.

I'm thinking of building another drum robot.. and with solenoids i can make more faster drum patterns. anyone knows a shop that delivers to Europe? I already looked on Ebay but couldn't find anything cheap.

Hi, check this ebay seller out, they sell a bunch of cheap solenoids only problem they all seem to be 12V.

i’ve just buyed a few of

i’ve just buyed a few of these on ebay.

they can both push and pull, so even more rithmic ;)  I’m gonna try to operate these at 5-6 volt, or else i will add some battery’s.

I will keep you guys updated about them.

I bought the one I notice in my first post. They work best for me at 12 volt at least. Lower voltage does work also, but at 12 volt my robot drums nice quickly and smooth. On 2 sides they have 2 M4 holes so they are easy to mount. Oh… And don’t use too long screws as i did …LOL stupid me xD. In The thick pushing side of the shaft there is also a M4 hole.

I really can recommend them…
