When will tutorials be updated for the Sabertooth 2x10?

Hello everyone,

I’m a long-time lover of robots, having built a few simple ones in the past. I’m looking to take the next step with something more advanced. I want to purchase and build a 4WD1 to be controlled with a PS2 controller. I will eventually want to add a Lynx 6 arm to it down the road when my budget will allow it. When I saw the “4WD1 Robot Combo Kit for PS2 Controller” kits were out of stock I sent an email asking when they would be back in. Beth replied that the rovers were being overhauled but that I could purchase it piece by piece using the parts listing. The only problem is she mentioned that the tutorials have not yet been changed over to use the Sabertooth 2x10 instead of the Scorpion. Well, given that I’m a newbie and need all the help from the tutorials that I can get, any ideas on when the tutorials might be updated? I don’t want to plop my money down until I know for sure I’ll have all the updated instructions I’ll need to be successful.

Thanks in advance,
Amy

Any Sabertooth-specific questions, you’re welcome to send us an email or give us a call (9 to 5 PST M-F) and we’ll be able to walk you through pretty much anything you’d want to do electrically. In general it’s pretty plug and play, especially the RC version.

Yes, I didn’t really even address the topic. The Sabertooth 2 x 10 RC which is the one we were going to port the 4WD1, 2, and 3 over to are essentially the same. From my testing they work close enough to the same as the Scorpion that the basic programs did not need to be changed.

But now they dont need to be changed since their being discontinued and redone

Just want to say that Dimensions Enginnering is soo cool! The Sabertooth outdoo’s the Scorpion by far! 8)
