Thank you for your reply,
Small omni wheels can also work. So for small omni wheels which omni wheels you recommend and a compatible servo for it.
Thanks
I have got a 4wd arduino like mechano parallel formation not cross, are there any lib examples to achive drive commands arc to for movements from a to b positions
it would be best to have velocity/speed, directions to be also considered
thanks
Hi Risk,
The AndyMark Omi Wheels are very high quality, but also fairly large in size, and supporting them from a servo shaft is not recommended (especially if there is a force perpendicular to the robot, the shaft would snap easily). The shaft sizes and shapes are also completely different and you would need at least two hubs in order to connect the two. As an option should you wish to connect the two would be to offset the shafts and connect the two using a timing belt or pulley system. We also carry smaller Omni wheels which may be a better fit.
Sincerely,
Take a look at the VEX Omni Wheel and the VEX Large Omni Wheel. The shafts fit easily with the VEX Servo Motor, or preferably, the VEX Continuous Rotation Motor. Note that the VEX shafts are square and you will likely need to keep it on the motor from the opposite side. If you want to use the AndyMark wheels, you might consider looking at a larger DC Gear Motor.
None that we are aware of at this time. Perhaps someone has seem some code and can post it or link to it here.
