Wheel/spur/pinion gear for standard threaded rod?

https://www.robotshop.com/forum/https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/312TmM5GLpL.jpgimages-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/312TmM5GLpL.jpgI found this image so it is made somewhere. Anyone know a source? Very very light torque and no precision requirements at all. Simply need to transfer perpendicular motion to eight separate rods along the length one threaded rod. Am considering a few other options such as .25 pitch spring as worm and 25p sprocket as gear. Hard to source a dependably pitched spring of a useful (for my purposes) diameter. Also considered an acme rod and thin spur gear of same thread/tooth pitch but it gets expensive for this little experiment.

Optimal would be a 1 to 1.5 inch diameter gear that would mate up with standard (cheap and available) 1/2-13 threaded rod. Precision is NOT necessary. Thrust angle, wear considerations… not a problem just as long as the gear turns with/by the rod.

Any suggestions please?

Thanks

Brad

It’s a worm and worm gear. These come in many variations.

We do not offer many worm+worm gear combinations unfortunately. Try sdp/si.
