Wheel mount

Hello,
I am trying to find a way to mount a wheel so that it is independent. I want it mount 2 front wheels that are not connected, so I can turn them independently. They will be free floating with no motor attached. I am planning on using these wheels robotshop.com/pololu-1090-wheel-1.html

Can someone point me to a wheel mount that will work for this?

Thanks

I want to use Rack and pinion. I am trying to figure out a way to make it work. I was thinking of parts like these for the base.

But if you have a suggestion I would like to hear it.

There are generally a few ways to steer a wheeled robot:

]Skid steering (like a tank; can have 2 / 4 / 6 wheels)/:m]
]Rack and pinion (like in a normal car)/:m]
]Holonomic Motion (onmiwheels, Mecanum wheels)/:m]
]Swerve drive (each motor can rotate and be controlled on its own - usually eight motors required)/:m]

Which method are you planning to use?

Rack and pinion basically needs a servo for directional control, and a four-bar mechanism so each motor mount rotates the same (although on a real car the angle is slightly different to compensate for the fact that the turning radius of each wheel is different). We don’t have a rack and pinion steering kit, but we have some options as part of other kits such as the Micro Magician and Buggy Car Chassis. Tamiya products are a great place to start for a custom solution.
