I am currently doing a college project using stepper motors. I want to buy 12V 0.4A 36oz-in Unipolar Stepper Motor, product name: RB-Soy-03, but I cannot find an appropriate set of wheels for them. Can anyone help please.
Also, I will be using two steppers for the movement and a ball-caster for support. Can anyone suggest the dimensions I should be using.
The primary objective of the robot is to move on a plain ground and stopping when it encounters an obstacle.
Thank you.
The shaft is 5mm in diameter which is a size most manufacturers don’t consider “standard” (it’s normally 4mm or 6mm). As such, we don’t have any wheels which can be directly connected to that shaft, or even a wheel + hub combination. Note too that most people don’t used stepper motors for mobile robots. Perhaps the following can help you to create your own:

If you have a drill press and can purchase a 5mm drill bit, you can use a 4mm hub and simply drill it out to 5mm.
