Its been awhile and getting back to building my Rover. 24v wheelchair build. I have a couple of questions regarding a remote kill for it. I got this 24V Starter Relay 500 AMP to switch on a Sabertooth dual 60A motor driver. This will be switched on with a 5V One Channel Relay OPTO Isolation and triggered by this RC Remote Controlled AUX on/Off. Is this overkill and have over thought this and there is a better way? My transmitter is a FS-i6S and the receiver is a FS-iA6B. These include a fail safe built in and is configurable. Should I scrap the idea of the 500 amp relay and rely on the transmitter fail safe alone? Input, ideas and thoughts welcome. Thanks.
