What would it cost to build a airplane?

I have a arduino uno and mega + I recently ordered a 7 ch remote (and receiver) so what do you think it would cost to build airplane using light foam for a frame? I heard you can use 2, 9 gram servos (one to power the prop and 1 for steering) what do you guys suggest?

And this is just for fun so there are no specific requirements.

You are better off to buy an ARF (Almost Ready to Fly) airplane of the size you like to use. These ARFs are available as complete kits, and do not include electronics, motor or servos. You have to realize that there is a lot more involved in building and flying an RC airplane than just putting parts together; you should locate a Hobby shop and get more information on this subject there before you commit any funds to the idea.

When it comes to R/C airplanes, the market is saturated - you can find hundreds of websites offering them and the cost varies wildly. If you use two small servos, the plane itself would need to be relatively small. You should go with the norm and use a brushless DC motor and prop for propulsion, and use the two servos for the control surfaces. Suggest simply finding on online which you like and ordering it.
