What Robot Do i Need

Hello,

I am after a robot, preferable a robotic arm, which i need for a university project.
I need to program the robot myself, and then be able to control it via the internet.
I Have done some research but I am not really getting anywhere.
I am not too sure what robot would be ideal for this, or what additional equipment may will need.

Any advice you can give me which will speed up my research would be very much appreciated.

The AL5 series seems ideal. If you choose a version with a BotBoarduino, you can add an Ethernet shield so you can control it via the Internet.

How do i go about programming this specific robot (AL5D)?
Ideally I wanted to write the code in C, C++, or Java

The BotBoarduino is programmed using the Arduino IDE: www.arduino.cc
This is very similar to C / C# and you can try it for free to see if you can work with it easily.
If not, then you’ll need a different microcontroller or servo motor controller:
