I currently have a set of 4 100mm Mecanum Wheels and am wondering what kind of motor I should buy for it. I’ve read that the ‘DC motors’ are compatible, but there are many types and I’ve already ordered the wrong motor once. Hoping to avoid the same mistake!

I just have the 4 100mm wheels – I sent back the motors and the mounting brackets because they were way too small. I have no clue what motor to use, what mounting supplies I need, etc. so any and all advice would be great!

The wheels set that you have would need a mounting hub like this one:
This hub could be connected to any motor with 6mm shaft so you can choose any motor you need that has 6mm shaft and order it along with this hub.
For an example, this motor would work:
There are so many options when it comes to motors so you need to see what characteristics would you need in your project, speed or strength? 6v or 12v? etc…
