What gets connected to ground?

Hi!

I know this is a silly question, but I have a basic micro 40m pro microcontroller, but I’m trying to figure out what to connect to ground. On the development board, there appears to be 2 ground connections a + and a -. If I’m hooking it up to a 9V battery, I only have a black wire and a red wire. What do I plug in where?

Thanks!

:open_mouth: Ground is - and the red one is +. There is only one ground, not two. And ground is never referred to as a +.

Er, I meant I have 4 connections total (GND, GND, +, -).

But I guess I just connect the black to gnd, and the red to +, and leave the other ground and the “-” empty.

Thanks!

I was see some thing like this on PIC basic for 3 year ago.
It mean GND, GND is same connector you can put the black to those two GND.
