What do you look for in 3D filament?

Name one thing that you value the most in 3D filament. And why?

cheap and it doesn’t clog

cheap and it doesn’t clog the printer

Lack of stringiness.

I recently bought a couple of really cheap rolls of PLA and am getting a fair bit of stringing between close points, even when printing at 185C.  The more expensive filament I’ve used doesn’t do this at all.

Consistency
I want filament with a consistent diameter and properties.
