What componnets need to remote control 4wd arduino robot?

I want to buy this kit and have it remote controlled.

exactly what other components are needed to make that happen?
I have 12v battery
I know I have to buy some kind of remote control unit, but not sure which one?

Hi,

Interesting idea! You’ll need a few basic things to make this happen. Lets cover those below:

]Transmitter/:m]
]Receiver/:m]
]Code for the microcontroller to use the receiver/:m]
Concerning the receiver, there are two main ways to go about it:

  1. Use a ready-made controller with a transmitter & receiver built-in, such as: RB-Kee-05 and the RB-Rlk-08 (and many others we offer).
  2. Create your own wireless control channel from DIY electronics using a wireless modules/microcontroller/buttons/etc. You can find all the parts required on our site.

Once you have a chosen solution, you will need to code the robot to use that signal to control its motion/actuators. The easiest would probably to look at their example code and base yourself on that. you can find those on the product page under Useful Links.
