Hey everyone! I've decided to purchase an Arduino Uno R3 kit from eBay. Culd you guys please recommend a kit that you know is good/may have purchased before? A few kits that I liked are:
-sainSmart Starter kit
-Sunfounder Super Kit
-Ultimate Starter kit
I have no experience with Arduino whatsoever, so I want to begin doing small projects and just learning how it works in general. These kits come with a lot of parts that'll make sure I'm set for a wide variety of experiments.
Which one seems to be best? The Sunfounder kit doesn't come with an Arduino board, that's why it's the cheapest. If you recommend that, should I buy any Arduino clone off eBay or should I buy an original board?
Thanks!
Hi Cycloned,
Of the three kits you provided links to, I like the sainsmart option. I have purchased some of their products and have not had any bad experiences. And I like the assortment of gadgets that comes with the sainsmart kit. I do agree with Oss that you should buy a board with a removable chip. Although the boards are fairly tolerant, the chip can be damaged if you try to source too much current.
Just remember that the most important thing is to have fun while you learn!
