Weight of the RobotShop Product Code : RB-Gtf-05 50mm Aluminium Wheel - 4mm Bore

I have built a R/C EDF model. I already have tires and axles installed. I already asked the question here about installing bearings in the plastic hubs. But the price to buy new wheels is about the same if I were to buy the wheels here. But weight is an important factor with R/C aircraft models. The weight for the Product Code : RB-Gtf-05 50mm Aluminium Wheel - 4mm Bore is not given. Can someone tell me the weight? And can someone tell me if the 4mm bore will fit my 4.1mm (5/32") axle? What drill bit size would allow me to drill it out to fit the 4.1mm axle? Thank you.

Hello @HifinSword!

Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not give that specification, but in our warehouse, they were listed as 18 grams.

However, if you want to be completely sure we recommend asking the manufacturer directly at:

I hope that helps!

Thank you for your answer. I am also wondering if the 4mm bore bearings you sell, might fit a 4.1mm (5/32") axle?
Thank you.

Which ones are you referring to? Could you please share the product code?

Although if the hole is 4mm it probably won’t fit a 4.1mm axle and I’m afraid I can’t recommend a specific drill bit size, maybe another forum user can? You could try changing the title of this thread to that question.
