We need a logo on LMR. or do we?

Ooohhhhh…
Quite like that, but I really think it needs a symbol…

I was just doing this…

Every time I see this, I read Let’s Make Roberts. Which must have something to do with a Not The Nine O’Clock News sketch featuring Leyland cars and torque wrenches - compulsory viewing.

British Humour

Ooops. I was about to say “you must be British.” Then I remembered how not all Scots appreciate that. In teh same way folk from Northern Ireland don’t always like to be called Irish.

Anyway, NT9ON is British humour at its best…!

Despite nearly 30 years in Edinburgh I’m English, so you can get away with it.

Nice

i love how we at present are taking up very little space at the top.

Can you make a more flat version, one that takes only the same space as e are using now?

I dig how you implemented the "ALL LMR ARE BELONG TO US", I think it is an important message

I agree!Please read the

I agree!

Please read the above.

I think for video tagging it should be simpler, so it can work smaller. Also I think we should provide something for people to be able to print out. So…

Why not make a kit?

Video: The Logobot (oops, did I just name it?), and well… perhaps what you made, only I think that on videos, the “letsmakerobots.com” should be in focus, not http, not “lets make robots” - Pepole can realize that it is a domain name without it, and we just need it to stand clear.

Print: Purpose is to make something that you can print out, and place behind your robot, on your robot etc. Perhaps just the “Let’s Make Robots” will do, if provided both in color, b&w, and in a resolution that it can be printed out nicely even in larger sheets.

tonight will be a photoshop night

glad you like the design

I’ll make the logo-kit tonight

maybe writing
maybe writing “letsmakerobots.com” is nicer than having the http in front, but that’s just a thought of mine. Very nice btw

Dislike

It’s a word my 3 year old uses when he dislikes something on the basis of a taste or sensation.

http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&lr=&rlz=1G1GGLQ_ENUK280&pwst=1&defl=en&q=define:yucky&sa=X&oi=glossary_definition&ct=title

I think in this context, Mike may mean that it’s a little too much like internal organs.

Totally

Yes. Absolutely. I think it needs to be more of a tagline (long and thin) both for the header (web page space is at a premium!!) and also for video tags.

But don’t discard the more square version, either. I want to use it on a T-shirt.

Nice PM
You might ask an admin to delete that…!

You’re right

Actually, this is very true. Most web browsers assume that if you don’t put a protocol (FTP:, FILE:, HTTP:) prefix that it’s HTTP anyway.

You can get away with letsmakerobots.com and www.letsmakerobots.com seems to redirect anyway. (How does this work? Is the domain registered without the WWW?)

Anyways, I would definitely include the URL in the videotag version, without HTTP, but leave the URL out of the page title.

On, man. It’s going to be sooo cool to have an image!
