I’ve received an Alphabot robot kit and it has been basically impossible to assemble.
The parts and layout given in the assembly manual don’t match the board.
AlphaBot Chassis Kit for Raspberry Pi 3 B+
Product Code: RB-Wav-166
Problems so far
- camera cable not long enough- cannot mount camera unit on board
- screw packages have no organization, screws supplied don’t match user manual
- camera unit mounting has no usable matching screws
- cutting/clipping the white plastic tabs is a guessing game
- ir sensor mounting is flimsy
- connectors for optoelectric sensor are in the way of mounting camera unit
- optical sensors cannot fit through board as required
- servo setup is different than assembly manual
- servo plastic arms need to be cut to fit in the assembly
- servo plastic arms don’t mount to the base, it doesn’t fit
- no screws to match plastic servo arms
- no pads given for rpi mounting
I would like some kind of compensation or return for all these problems
