Is the Tri-Track Chassis Combo Kit for RC waterproof? I need a tracked vehicle that can be operated around or in water. If it is not waterproof, which components would I need to switch out (motors, motor controllers, battery, and connectors?
Also, is the Tri-Track only available with 2" wide tracks?
The Tri-Track is far from waterproof. The entire chassis is exposed, as are the electronics. The motors would quickly rust and seize. The Tri-Track only uses 2" wide tracks.
A platform like the A4WD1 may be easier to make water-resistant, though we don’t have a specific procedure to do so.

I want to stick with tracks vs wheels. I’ll check around and see what I can find for water proof electronics. Are the idlers and hubs ordinary steel vs stainless?
The idlers and hubs are aluminum.
