Was I sent the wrong controller?

I recently ordered:

RC-01 v2 PS2 Robot Controller (v2)-PS2 Robot Controller (v2)

which is pictured here:

The goals is to plug the controller into a BotBoarduino to control an AL5D arm.

What I received does not look like that - it’s a controller and receiver (with 2 red LEDs) in a blister pack. There were no servo wires included, and receiver does not have a circuit board (a.k.a level shifter) protruding from the back (it instead has a standard PS2 connector) - both are shown in the picture from the link above.

Was I sent the wrong part?

Is it possible to make the part I received work with the BotBoarduino, or do I just need the right part?
