WALL-E clone

Hello,

Just finished my WALL-E clone and would like to share its story:

Additional hardware:

  • Surveyor’s Stereo Vision System
  • Lynxmotion’s Tri-Track Chassis Kit
  • Lynxmotion’s Pan and Tilt Kit
  • 4 Maxbotic’s EZ1 ultrasonic range finders
  • Honeywell’s HMC6352 compass (does seem to work well because of magnetic disturbances)
  • The rest is handcrafted

The robot is controlled from an application running on PC side. Controlled with a game pad or a mouse.

Video of the robot:

With best regards

Awesome I really like it

Woooow!!!
Compliments!!!
Now You must create the arms!!!

I just saw your 'bot over on the Blackfin Surveyor website!

How do you like the Blackfin camera, and which one did you get?

I see you’ve got a few of the additions too!

Have you modified any of the code on the Blackfin?

I’ve been looking to buy the Blackfin with the radio/motor board.

I’d like to hear more!

Thanks!

P.S. I have one of the Wall-e toys (from sons). It would be interesting although probably not that easy to “modify” it.
