This is my kit robot named "Walker Texas Ranger"

Its a basically stock Joinmax quad walker, which I've painted to make look a bit better than all the yellow plastic its made from. The cost to build is $230.00 from Pololu.

(The robots name came from a lost bet....but we won't go in to that)

Yeah I agree. I had 3 people

Yeah I agree.

I had 3 people mess with this thing and none of us could make it walk properly. The issue is with the balance. When it lifts a back leg, it dumps over because the battery placement. So we made due with what we could get done without going crazy modifying it.

I really should resolve this issue though…(insert a lame excuse why I’ve not taken the time to do so)

But in the mean time, its cool for what it is.

 

BTW, this is the best robotics site I’ve ever seen!!!
