VSA Track Adjustment

Hi, I just recently upgraded and replaced some servos that were installed on one of my animatronic figures, and now the servos are off calibration and need to be adjusted using the “Track Adjustment” feature on VSA v5. Can anybody give me an in depth explanation on how to use track adjustment with VSA. Specifically how the offset and scaling works.The VSA manual is a little vague on this certain feature. Also the servo controller that is being used on this figure is a “Parallax Propeller USB Servo Controller”. Any advice would be much appreciated. I know this is not a Flow botics product. But I am need of help and Im on a tight deadline. Thank you.

Thank you for your email. I gather you found this link:

but rather than adjust the min and max, you want to adjust the default and some other value (perhaps the max). Note, because you are solving for a scaling and an offset, you need to think about two values to map (i.e, the default+max, default+min, default+other value).

In the example, we map from MiniSSC value 0 to Parallax value 250 and from MiniSSC value 254 to Parallax value 1250. Just replace these constants with your values.

You can solve the linear equation yourself, or use something like this:
