Voting is now over for the Village to Raise a Child Campaign - 2552 votes

Hello guys,

Some of you might know that I had submitted my entry as part of the Village to Raise a Child Campaign. It's about changing the way Nepal learns through building robots.

The campaign has reached the voting phase and I am in need of your support.

Please support this project by voting at : http://tinyurl.com/lyv86lz

Public voting will commence at 12:00AM on August 27, Eastern Standard Time and end at 11:59PM on September 10, Eastern Standard Time. To vote, you will have to enter your email address and Facebook account details. Well, not everyone on LMR likes Facebook! But then again, please vote in the name of this incredible hobby all of us crave for - Robotics.

Everyone may vote once a day. This means that you may vote up to 14 times over the 14-day voting period.

Almost everything I've learned about robots is through LMR. Meeting fantastic people like you on a daily basis is what that has ignited in me a love for robotics. And I hope to spread the waves of this hobby in my country through this project I am undertaking. I highly appreciate the support guys. Thanks!

1500 votes (8th place)

Thank you bdk for your continuous support and the eagerness you have shown towards the project, as well as supporting robotics as a whole. And once again, thank you to every LMRian who has voted so far, and those who have sent in their regards for this little effort.

LMR, in my opinion, is the holy grail of robotics on the internet. I would really appreciate some more votes from out here in the last 2 days so that we can crack the top 5 to make it to the next round.  Please take some time to share this voting link with friends, families, co-workers, or with anyone you can. You can still vote everyday, as bdk just mentioned, till September 10.

Every vote is a step towards helping underprivedged kids enjoy the beauty of robotics and also a step towards helping Nepal learn in a smarter way. Let’s make this possible guys.

Please don’t get me wrong though! The support so far has been great. We just need a little extra kick!
