Voltmèter

Hi,

I am building a robot using a microcontroller. I am looking for a voltmeter sensor to measure the voltages on different points on the robot. The voltmeter will be soldered on a pcb. It should be compact enough and have a good quality. Can you please suggest me one which is good because i have difficulties to find it, it seems to me that there are not to many choices?

Thank you very very much for your help.

Can you please suggest me a voltage sensor if you know about it, that can be mounted on a pcb even if it’s from another shop since we don’t have it here?

Thank you

Hi,

At this time RobotShop does not have any voltage sensors which can be mounted on a PCB. We suggest you look at the specifications sheets for any that are of interest in this category to see which chip is used and if it will meet your needs.

Hope this helps,

sHi Rocky,

If there are any users here who have any suggested PCB mountable voltage sensors, we invite them to reply. We suggest once again to take a look at our selection and to see which chips are used to give you part numbers you can search for on sites like Digikey.

It is also important to note that a voltage sensor is also known as an analogue-to-digital converter or ADC. Most microcontrollers can measure voltages, through analogue pins but you might need to reshape your signal (amplify if is it is too small, or divide it if it is too large) in order to measure it properly.

Hope this helps,
