Hello,

i have a question about this product :
robotshop.com/ca/fr/abaisseu … 5v-3a.html
The maximun output current is 3A, so if i have 1A input i’ll get 1A output and if i have 4A input i’ll get 3A output ?

Hi,

Yes you are correct. The 1.25V-35V 3A Adjustable Step-Down Voltage Regulator will provide up to 3A.
However, if you have a load connected to the output that consumes more than 3Amps, it will burn the regulator’s chip (LM2596).
