Voice recognition on HexaPod

HI,

I finally managed to build my hexapod witch is 100% printed with a 3D printer.

it works perfectly with the PS remote controller but I would like to add voice recognition.

i’m not really friendly with Arduino coding, and I wonder if someone has already succeed to install a module like the EasyVR
and integrated it in th hexapod Sketch ???

thanks in help me to choose the right module if the EasyVR isn’t the ggod one.

You can browse our catalog of speech recognition products here. Please note we do not recommend the SmartVR product for new designs/projects since it was recently discontinued by the manufacturer.

If you device to use the EasyVR Shield for Arduino 3.0 (unassembled), you can find the manual and Arduino files in the “Useful Links” section of the product page.

The manual contains more information about using this module and the shield with Arduino-compatible boards on pages 18-23. You can read more here.

Does it mean that i have to take a look to the “Speech Recognition Click Board”
(Product Code : RB-Mik-46) instead of EasyVr ?

The EasyVR and the Speech Recognition Click Board are both good options (Only the SmartVR is being discontinued). Both support speaker dependent voice recognition for free and the EasyVR software can be upgrade to support speaker-independent (no training required) voice recognition. This requires purchasing a licence separately from the manufacturer directly.
