Visual sequencer problem

Hi,

I cant add any projects, sequence or step when I am in the visual sequencer (like all the little plus) it says like that it connot perform this operation on a closed dataset. waht does taht meen and how do i fix it?

tahnks for help

This sounds like one for Laureatus. He’s not online today… :frowning:

This post was crosslinked, he fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalling the program.

ya sorry I forgot to reply here  sorry

Hi,

well now I cant manage to download the alredy done programs (like for the BRAT)

How can I download them?

download them onto the SSC-32? is that what you mean?

well the programs for the BRAT (the already done ones) dont work, I managed to get them in the SEQ/SSC-32, but the bot moves any way, like for the walking, it just falls down cause the legs are moving any way.
How can I fix it?

And is it possible to, lets say you have two sequences, to make play the first once and then loop the second forever?

Sam thx

i dont think so, you can loop it, but you can repeat that sequence over and over

for the walking, you may need to make sure the bot is in the position you want it to start in before you create a project, also your servos may be set up different

ok, yeah, I think that my servos are in a different config. but its weird because it looks like some servos are going completely the wrong way.

Sam

o yea, make sure you hit the reverse button for the servos in the sequencer, thats is a problem for many of the bipeds

I think Jim said that they reversed the left side servos.

It sounds like you have the standard issue of not orienting the servos the same way that the example code has them oriented.
An easy way to fix that is to play the first step of the example sequence (asuming that’s the one where the BRAT is supposed to be standing straight up).
Then, you can unscrew the center servo-horn screw, flex the “C” brackets a bit, and rotate them until the BRAT is standing up straight.

ok, how do I reverse the servos?
Sma thanks

well, as nick just said, Jim might’ve said he reversed the left leg servos already, a good way to check how lined up your servos are, is to push the “All servos to 1500” button and then re align them with the way Nick said to do

First you DL the new update of the SEQ.
Then you hunt around for a “Reverse” button.

Hi,

I downloaded the update and reverse the servos from the left leg… now at least I can see that’s its trying to walk  but it still dosenty walk… :frowning:

Waht can I do, is it realy the left leg that we have to reverse? or like each servo?

You can wait for the tutorial we are updating this week, or you can look at the screen shots of the leg calibration that are in the DL that has the moves James did. It shows you the degrees to put into the calibration, and that the left servos are reversed.
