Visual display for linear cylinder

I am building a 100% solar and wind turbine 38 feet catamaran and I will use linear cylinder for the direction, to lift solar panel roof and to lift wind turbines. BUT my challenge, mostly with the direction is to know, when driving, what position motors are… So I’m looking for a visual display… Can somebody here can help ?

Hi @agilbert and welcome to the forum.

I would recommend you this product: Synchronous Control Board for Feedback Actuators | Firgelli (still not available in RobotShop).

This product can be used to synchronize up to 4 linear actuators, but you can also use to run only 1. It has a display with all different settings, but you can also track position of each actuator (which is your initial request).

It can work with both 3-wire and 4-wire feedback signal actuators, including those equipped with hall or optical sensors. Here you will be able to find some of these feedback actuators: Firgelli Automations - RobotShop
