Son purchased this and we are having problems.
Firstly pressing forward makes the robot go backwards and vice versa.
Secondly one wheel is going faster than the other, so u have to put the stick up and hold it to the right to make the robot go straight.
Next we tried the spinner attachment but can’t get that working either, it beeps a lot and spins every now and again.
I want to return the whole lot for a full refund but my son doesn’t.
Any ideas?

This happens when the wires from the motor are reversed. In your case, the wires from both motors are reversed. See troubleshooting #18 on page 16 and #2 on page 23 of the manual.
Adjusting the transmitter’s trim level should fix that.
Double check that the wires are plugged into the transmitter correctly. Note that the ESC may be trying to provide additional power to the Viper - it’s important to check that your receiver does not have two sources of power. It also seems like there’s a chance is might work - check #7 in the spinner guide, keeping in mind that it needs to be “armed” in order to work.
