Hi, I recently purchased the Garmin LiDAR-Lite V3 for a research project. The project revolves around a spray plume of water from a nozzle and capturing this with the LiDAR.
The LiDAR seems capable of detecting the spray plume as I can see the distance readings account for it, but only part of the time. I can also see the Signal Strength readings alter when the spray is active vs when it is not. I believe that the reflection from the water plume is not enough to register a reading most of the time, and I was hoping there was a way to see the full signal waveform from the LiDAR and then I could try and possibly see a small peak emerging from the noise, a peak that might not reach the normal threshold.
If anyone has any experience or has any ideas I would love to hear them. I also have a number of other technical questions that I didn’t see in technical manuals or on forums.
