The Videobot shows Videos.
This robots purpose in life is to show videos. To do that the robot's body contains a television and a dvd player. To control what video is shown this robot has some sensorics to interact with humans. The human viewer hovers his hand over some defined controls to i.e. select the next video.
In the robot's head is an eye that reflects the human interactions.
The Communication Protocol
The used IR communication protocol is NEC. This is due the available DVD player from the artist. A standard DVD player from Japan.
The Videobot only needs the following commands:
- Stop is Decoded NEC: EF40BF (32 bits)
- Play is Decoded NEC: EF50AF (32 bits)
- Next is Decoded NEC: EF0AF5 (32 bits)
- Previous is Decoded NEC: EF2AD5 (32 bits)
