This is my first post, but I already have a question. I want to be able to transmit and receive video from my flying drone up to distance of 1-2 km. Which protocol/ method would you know that can fulfil this requirement from your experience?
I am thinking of using black and white video, so data wise, there would be much less weight than using colour video I would think. Any suggestions/pointers?

Such long distances require a long-range wireless protocol with a wide bandwidth(Data Rate).

Also about making the video black and white, I think it can help reduce the data yea but the framerate itself requires high-speed Data Rate.
