Vibrating motor-Product Code : RB-See-403

Hello.

We are going to build bristle bots for our STEM Family night at our elementary school. See link to science buddies for project:

I know the voltage will work, but want to check the size of these vibrating motors (Product Code : RB-See-403) from your website. Do you think these are the right size for mounting to a toothbrush head and is their an adhesive on the back side of the motor to easily mount to the toothbrush head?

Thanks. Lana Ferren

Here’s a size comparison: robotshop.com/media/catalog/ … otor-1.jpg
It might be too small actually. You might consider:

Is the coin in the picture a quarter? Also, is their an adhesive on the backside?

Yes, it’s a quarter. There is adhesive on the back.

Thanks, one last question. What does 2mm refer to in the product spec?

The height is 2mm (i.e. very flat)

ok, so one more question. From looking at the picture with the quarter, it looks the diameter of the motor is 1cm. Is that correct?

Exactly 10mm diameter.
