Vex Turntable Bearing Kit

Dear Sir or madam: To couple the Vex Turntable Bearing kit RB-Inn-200 to the Vex Servo Motor BP-Inn-11, do you have a matching servo motor drive gear available? Looking at your video on the Turntable Bearing Kit, it shows a small metal drive gear being used on the servo at point of assembly. However in the product photos, it does not look like either the servo motor, or the turntable, come with that small metal drive gear, and I do not see it in the Vex drive gear kits, either. Also, all the other servo motors I have come with a three-lead female connector, which will match the control board I want to use. The Vex apparently comes with a male connector; is there a male-to-female adapter for this?
Thanks and best regards,
Wyatt

VEX parts are really only compatible with other VEX parts. In this case, the turntable would really only be compatible with VEX motors:
robotshop.com/en/100-rpm-vex … RB-Inn-342
robotshop.com/en/vex-servo-k … =RB-Inn-11
It’s meant as an accessory for those who already have VEX kits.

Thank you. My question though was, where does one get the metal gear shown in the video when the Vex turntable and a Vex servo motor are mated together? One would assume it is also a Vex part, but it doesn’t appear to be in any of the Vex gear kits. It also does not appear to be a gear that comes with either the Vex turntable kit or the standard Vex servomotor. Maybe it is in the turntable kit, but, if so, it is not apparent in any of the photos.

It’s all part of the VEX system. We had sold the small metal spur gear (12T pinion) previously, but it is no longer on the RobotShop website. We should be able to obtain it as special order though for ~$26 USD for pack of 12), part number RB-Inn-415 (VEX #276-2251).

Ah; now THAT makes sense. Thank you! I have a bunch of stuff in my cart, how would I add a special order item? I have no idea what I will do with the other 11 pieces, but oh well… Just as an aside, the video on the turntable provides a great way to view its design and function, but there ought to be some reference or footnote about the gear. Otherwise, folks would have the turntable and servo on their workbench with no way to connect them.

We can proceed with a special order one of two ways: We can manually create the order in our system including the special order part, or you can add a comment to your order that you would like to include 1x RB-Inn-415 as special order (it’s not considered an active product in our system, but we would reactivate it for you). As such, the product would be manually added to your order and the total would be updated. If you include that you approve the price change ($~26 USD for the gear pack), our sales staff should not need to contact you for approval.
