VEX 2010 Competitions

We hope 2010 is off to a great start for everyone! After a brief break for the holidays, the VEX competition season is back in full swing, as over 100 teams competed last weekend at events in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Nebraska. This week there will be about 150 more teams competing at events in California, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

2010 VEX World Championship Expansion and Registration
Due to overwhelming demand and the number of teams who have already qualified and registered for the 2010 World Championship, we are proud to announce that the 2010 VEX World Championship will be expanded to four full divisions this year, along with a fifth division for the College Challenge. Registered teams will compete in either the Science, Technology, Engineering or Math division, with the 4 division Champions meeting to determine the 2010 World Champions. So even with the increased number of teams, do not worry - we have secured more space at the Dallas Convention Center to ensure there is room for over 300 teams, more divisions, the skills challenges, a huge practice field area, an even larger food court and an even bigger Team Celebration Party at the conclusion of the competition. If your team has qualified for and plans to attend the 2010 World Championship, be sure to register online soon to ensure your spot while space is still available. We canā€™t wait to see all the top teams from around the world April 22-24 in Dallas.

2010 VEX World Championship Agenda and Hotel Information
The 2010 VRC World Championship Schedule and Agenda is now posted on the RobotEvents.com VRC World Championship Event Page. As teams qualify, be sure to register to ensure your spot and book your hotel rooms to get the discounted room rates before they fill up (a couple are close to full already). The three hotels offering special World Championship discounts for VEX teams can be found on the event page on RobotEvents.com.
