Description: I have a Neato D80 Botvac which had its laser replaced. Now I get a double triangle with an exclamation mark (!) in the middle. The LCD screen then sez " oops. how embarrassing. please press ok to continue (0001)" Any ideas what is causing this error?
Hardware concerned: Not sure, botvac worked after laser change. It tried to eat a dog toy and went into dead mode. Hard reboot started odd error.
Software concerned: Not sure
Troubleshooting steps already taken: Tried soft reboot, hard reboot, new battery. Triple checked all connections.
The issue could certainly be caused by the dog toy.
This issue would be pretty hard to diagnose, as it could be a lot of thing. We would guess the issue is coming from the motor, but it could have damaged the circuit board with the motor stalling because of the dog toy.
I have the same problem. It got stick under the coffee table. I purchased a new battery, soft reset, hard rest, selected " new battery" in the menu and tried interior switch.
It always says oops! So I select English and the exclamation point stays. It does not show that it is charging.
So sad.
I have a shark IQ that I bought a couple months ago and it has already done more cycles than this D80 I purchased over a year ago. Duck a problem child.
