Using LittleBits coding kit

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.

Description and Additional information:

I am an academic librarian and I am developing some beginner coding workshops for faculty and students. I have to purchase any kit myself and am looking at the LittleBits Coding kit as something I could use in my workshops. I have enough funding to purchase one kit at C$399. Are there enough pieces that a group of 20 (divided into 5 small groups of 4) could do a single activity? If not, are there enough pieces and activities that each group of 4 could do a different coding activity? I can’t afford to purchase more than one kit.

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Martha

Hello @marthabufton and welcome to the RobotShop forum,

Unfortunately, the littleBits Code Kit doesn’t have enough pieces to support that many students. However the littleBits STEAM Student Set supports 1-3 students and the littleBits STEAM+ Kit can engage up to 4 students, so you might be able to make it work for larger groups. For 20 students the recommended options would be the bundles, but since they are beyond your budget I recommend you check out other options, you can find some good ones in the Electronic Experimentation and the Robotics Education sections of the store.

Let me know if you need further assistance!
