Using a BattleSwitch 10A Relay to control Sabertooth 2x10?

Hello,

I have a project that I am working on where my A4WD1 V2 rover will be controlled remotely and among other things also have a Wifi camera attached. My concern is that it will be sitting stationary for long periods of time with the camera running(on a different battery), and at that time I would prefer that the battery that is dedicated to the Sabertooth/motors be shutoff until the rover would need to be moving again. My thought was to use the BattleSwitch Radio Controlled 10A Relay to control the power going to the Sabertooth(the battery for the Sabertooth/motors is 12vdc 5a). My thought is that this should work, however it’s always best to make sure

Thank You

It should work just fine. Make sure the motor controller isn’t set to autocal though.

Excellent!,

Thank you Jim
