Normally more advanced discussion centers around specific products, programming languages and/or software. For example if you are working on SLAM using specific hardware, you might take a look at that company’s forum / community, especially since the manufacturer should be replying as well. When it comes to general (advanced) Q&A it’s often hard to get answers without having done a very similar setup. One approach would be to scour the interwebs and find similar projects and attempt to contact the creator(s).
