Yes and no - here’s the explanation:
The XBee switch connects either XBee slot 1 or XBee slot 2 to the Tx / Rx pins (digital pins 0 and 1) on the board. However, the Arduino also allows softserial on other digital pins (you choose). For this reason, we added the corresponding 0.1" spaced holes next to the XBee headers so you can use wires to connect the Tx and Rx pins of the second slot to two of the unused digital pins of the board (ex digital pins 10 and 11). The wires to do so are not included with the kit.
Therefore one of the XBee slots will use digital pins 0 and 1, while the other (via wires) would use two other digital pins (ex 10 and 11). Note that the onboard motor controller uses digital pins 5,6,7,8. You can use almost any product in XBee format including:
