USB communication with "dS2824 - 24 x 16A ethernet relay"

I have recently bought a dS2824 « Ethernet relay » card.

I can configure it by my Ethernet network, but afterwards I would like to control it only by the USB or RS485 port.

Where can I get some informations about the configuration (baud rate, stop bit, etc.) and which protocol do I have to use ? (Modbus, ASCII, etc.)

There is no information about it in the User Manual (only Ethernet control).

I thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards
Didier.

As you indicated, the User Manual of the dS2824 doesn’t seem to mention that the relays can be controlled through USB or RS485.
It only states that it can be controlled graphically over a secure webpage or by ASCII, Binary or Modbus commands over TCP/IP.
The USB or RS485 connections seems to be only used for configuring the board or updating the firmware.
We have contacted the manufacturer to confirm. We will post their reply here.

Hello, I bought the DS2824 board, and I cannot configure it.
For the configuration, must the USB cable and the Network cable be connected simultaneously?
Thank you.

Hi @Luisma ,

User manual does not say that you need USB cable to start, only Ethernet cable and power supply:

That is to control the relays, I need to configure the board.
And I don’t get it.
Thank you.
