Uptech CDS5500 voltage range

hi,

i have just got a few Uptech CDS5500, when reading the voltage min and max, it shows 6v and 14v. so just wanna know if it is safe to use 12v for Uptech CDS5500 ?

and currently i am using 12v to power up Uptech CDS5500, but when reading the current vol, it shows only 99 or 9.9v. Is this normal to have voltage drop ?

A 12V source falls within the 6-to 14V range so it should be appropriate.

Regarding, the voltage drop, it is quite possible depending on the power source you are using. You might want to use a regulated source of a more powerful one.
