Universal 7.2-12v charger OK? for 6V?

I noticed recently that the 7.2-12v Charger (lynxmotion.com/p-602-60-12vd … arger.aspx) is now listed for 6v-12v. The picture still looks like the one that I have… I was wondering if it is OK to charge some of my 6v batteries with it?

I have the green one as well that is listed for 2.4-7.2v which I normally use for my 6v batteries, but there are times I wish to charge more than one battery at a time…

I have one, it’s what I use to charge 6V and 12 NiCad packs. I have the green one as well. I just wouldn’t charge LiPo batteries!

The two battery chargers we currently stock are:

USC-01 = 2.4 to 7.2vdc
USC-02 = 6.0 to 12vdc

Either should be able to charge a 7.2vdc battery. I don’t remember any 7.2 to 12vdc chargers. It could have been an earlier release?

Good Morning,

If you look at the picture of the product on the product page, the cover shows 7.2v-12v. That is why I am a bit confused

Kurt

Ah, yes. That picture was of the first batch of USC-02 we got in, which were 7.2-12vdc. However, the current chargers ARE 6.0-12vdc. I’ll get the picture updated; thanks for pointing that out!
