Unboxing the Insectbot Mini Kit from DFRobot

Hi!

This is my first review on a robot sent from a manufacturer, as my main experience is creating my robots from zero. I see this chance as an opportunity to expand my experience and open up these tool-kits to other people that maybe are not as used to DIY electronics and mechatronics. First of all thank you to DFRobot and all the team from Let's make robots.

And now the first part: unboxing the parts for the Insectbot Mini Kit!

The kit comes inside a descriptive box that is also inside a cardboard box, all well protected against moisture by a grey plastic bag and folded with enough DFRobot duct tape:

The whole thing is inside a box that contains soft protectors as you can see in the picture:

And now with us the inner box that contains the Insectbot Mini Kit:

Now the parts that are inside this nice box, they are small but very intelligent parts to build a beautiful critter ;-)

You can read also the Part list at the rear of the inner box together with some tips to create your bot:

So my next post will be about mounting this robot and some experiments. Wish me look as I would like to test some new designs besides the usual one that is very well documented by Lumi here. You can see it as a preview of what is coming ;-) (Please give me some time as I do this within the two hours I have at night, from letting sleeping my children and going to bed. See you soon!

Thank you Francisco.

Thank you Francisco. Unboxing is (at least for me) always an exciting part  I hope you will have no problems putting that little robot together.
