my question is very simple. I recently found ultrasonic transducers without the data sheet and pcb board.
I would like to test out its range(width and distance). What would I need besides a breadboard and power supply?

Can you post an image of the transducer? Do you have a supplier product code? You would likely need to generate a timed pulse and measure its echo, so a microcontroller would be a good way to test it. Having a datasheet to know which voltage it operates at is very important. If no datasheet is available, can you determine the manufacturer and send them an image to get the spec sheet?
