Just bought a second hand one for my son. In general, it seems to work, when using the PC software all joints/motors seems to do their job, but the posture when reset is a bit weird, forward leaning kind of, and he falls when performing normal motions/actions from the mobile app. Is there any way to reset/recalibrate this thing?

I’ve looked online, but I only found some simple user manuals, as you already did which says following:
But I couldn’t find anywhere how can user reset the skewing. Maybe somewhere in the software?
In the end, maybe you will have to contact Ubtech support for help.

Yes, I was curious if anyone knew how to do it yourself. I’ll try to contact UBtech (if they are still alive as the same company?).
Seems like their webpage is still active:
I just got a generic answer that I should contact the company that sold me the robot 
So this means that user cannot reset it, but you have to activate warranty (return the product to manufacturer via company where you bought it).
So, just to help anyone who has the same problem, I found the solution after quite some googling.
